"Every house where love abides
And friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home sweet home
For there the heart can rest."

It is still Christmas!

Here in Holland, it is what we call 2e Kerstdag or 2nd Christmas Day. I think it should be 2nd Christmas Day everywhere. Why is the biggest holiday of the year just one day? I like the tradition of the Victorians to celebrate the 12 days of Christmas. Why not start your own tradition? Why should we only think Christmas is one day? To me it should be Christmas in our hearts everyday. The world would be a better place if it was.

This video is so precious. I am not a pop music fan at all and have never heard of this group but I found this video last year and just love it. I watch it once in a while to bring to back to the real reason we celebrate Christmas. Not only the nativity but also the girl walking along and discovering all the pieces herself. Enjoy!

And the other blog entries gave a good impression of your home decorating skills.
Looking forward to see both of you soon!

What a sweet video! I really miss that second day of Christmas from those years of living in Germany.

Love your post. The week between Christmas and New Years is one of my favorite times of the year. Most of the decorations are still up, everyone is in a good mood, the pressure of the preparation is gone and we can relax, sew, and just take in the beauty of the season.

What a beautiful video. I can't wait to share it with others.

Thank you for your comment on my blog. I am feeling much better.

Dagi is such a unique cat. Very handsome. I only remembered last night that Buddy turned one on the 22nd. But he has had lots of treats this week so I'm sure he forgives us. Have a blessed 2nd Christmas.

A lovely video. I agree with extending Christmas...I always try to keep it in my heart all year long. After all, I think I'm a kid at heart, but trapped in a an adult's body! ;)
Happy 2nd Christmas!

Because we celebrated Christmas early the 22, we literally had a second Christmas yesterday. We played board games, ate and had one gift to open. It was lots of fun. What do you do on second Christmas day?

What a cute video! The only song I knew from Sixpence None the Richer was "Kiss Me". If you're not familiar with it, check it out on youtube. It has a very catchy, sweet tune. :-)
