Oops! I messed up with a "play date" afternoon with a friend. She was here on my doorstep today and I did not know she was coming. I have to put my make do project off until tomorrow. It was half done yesterday but needs more work. I promise to show a fun project later on this week.

both Gavin and Elizabeth are here, they are napping right now, but I don't have plans to do much.
Our make do and mend will be Sunday leftovers for Monday supper. They were good yesterday so I am sure they will be good today, and I am thankful I have a husband who likes leftovers.

I really enjoyed doing mine today, and thanks for the kind comment. Like you, I don't like the purely functional boards - it's got to be good to look at too! Hope you had fun on your play-date!
