And friendship is a guest,
Is surely home, and home sweet home
For there the heart can rest."

Almost Easter.....

In two weeks, it will be Easter. This year is flying by once again. So time to decorate with some little touches to welcome the Easter Bunny to our home...

I changed a few quilts again on my quilt ladder...

Placed some branches in a jug and added some egg ornaments...

And hung a grapevine wreath for a final touch...

That looks really pretty and springlike, the branches with egg ornaments are a great idea.

Easter has snuck up fast this year. Wasn't it just Christmas? LOL.
However, it looks like you will be all ready for it's arrival. Your display is so pretty. The quilts are all so beautiful and look great together on the ladder.
Happy Spring to you, Heidi.

I've been so focused on other things I haven't even thought about Easter. I'm probably not decorating, I'm just not into it right now although that could change before Easter. I like what you did it's simple and feel very natural.

That ladder looks great in the corner. Now if you'd get the "rags" off it you could see the ladder better.
Love u anyway.

Eastern decoration are those I like the best : for me it's like life was beginning again. When I see your pictures I always wonder how many quilts you saw ?
Have you receive the Die shots I sent you ? sometimes I have problems when they are more than one. Have a good sunday, Heidi !

Love your decorating, Heidi! Are those branches real or faux?

Hello again Heidi,
I made a quick leap over from one blog to another as I knew, instinctively that you would have your Easter decorations in place. It's always such a treat to see how you welcome each season and celebrate each festival. I love your pretty wicker wreath and the lovely ornaments on your branches. How lovely to be able to ring the changes with all your beautiful quilts. They are a decoration that needs no other supporting act.
There was a wonderful exhibition of quilts at the Stitching Show at Olympia last week. I thought of you and wished you could have seen them. I will email some pictures. Many were themed on the forthcoming Olympics. :-)
Lovely post as always, my dear friend.
