Here in Holland everyone is starting a long and unseasonably warm and sunny weekend. Many do have to work nowadays on Good Friday but we also have Easter Monday along with our Easter Sunday. The "normal" exodus of traffic started yesterday to spend the long weekend away at vacation hotspots. As for Jos and I, we are looking forward to spending it with our bird friends in the woods at Cranberry Cottage. I am taking a little blogging break.
Our floor is still not fixed and now shifting apart in more areas as there is one whole side removed. The man who did the floor is not reliable. *sigh*
This year, I created a little Easter arrangement in a bird cage. My bunny is protecting these eggs until the big day. *wink*

Sorry to hear that your floor causes you so many problems.
Our Easter weekend is also a long one and most of our neighbours have already left for a short vacation. I hope the weather will stay as lovely as it is at the moment and I wish you some great days at the cottage.

Well, that is one super cute arrangement. I got none of my things out of the attic this year. No little ones anymore.
I am making up some things for my big kids (too bad you are not here). Bill, Eric, Becky and George and me. We are having ham dinner and not sure yet, but maybe an Easter cake. I bought my favorite marshmallow bunnies to decorate it.
Our weather is lousy. Rain and cold again today. Yuk. Hope you have a wonderful weekend at the cottage.

You have made a cute display with the bunny and the bird cage. I am so sorry that your floor is not right and your floor man isn't reliable. It is so hard to find people who take pride it what they do and who have the integrity to make it right. Enjoy your long weekend at your cottage.

It's about 40 degrees here in my garden....
Took Rover to a dog beach to swim.
(well, he did, I didn't but it was tempting though..)
I so enjoyed catching up to things you are doing today - I hadn't visited in a while - how nice to see spring come to Holland. Here on the eastern shores of Canada we have not yet reached that point.
