Greetings from Slugsville...
Hi everyone in blogland! Selby S. Slug here. I stopped in to say hello myself since I have been making regular appearances lately on this blog. The owner of this garden calls her little escape Cranberry Cottage but I know it as Slugsville. It is my home. She put out some left over bread for the birds. I meandered my way up to give it a try and boy is it yummy! So while I munch away on my latest meal, she is snapping more photos of me. Humans are rather silly creatures, aren't they?

Ok, you told me to look again and I enlarged the picture. That is just gross, whyyyyyyyy would you want a picture of that ugly thing. Yuk.
Don't write a book about that thing, it would be a nightmare book for kids.

I haven't found any gourds in the stores yet. Can't wait to get some! Gourds say "fall" to me.

Love the gourds, they spell autumn to me. I got some and some pumpkins last weekend, they are perfect.
Get rid of Selby , fast, before he eats everything.

That's one pretty ugly slug. I didn't know they liked bread. At least that's better than the ones in my garden who eat all the leaves.

Het spijt me dat het al een hele tijd geleden is dat ik je blog bezocht, helaas ontbreekt me de tijd... Ik slaag er zelfs nauwelijks in een nieuwe post te maken... Toen ik zag dat je blog van naam veranderd was heb ik dat onmiddellijk aangepast in mijn bloglist. Ondertussen gaan de jongens terug naar school en gaat het dagelijkse leven weer zijn gewone (lees: veel te snelle) gangetje. Ik hoop dat het met jouw gezondheid al wat beter gaat...

Hi miss Selby, welcome in the green green land of Appelscha. Would you please be so kind to NOT eat the beautiful plants in the garden of your host!! This place is not Slugsville, it is Cranberry Cottage! If you don't behave yourself there is a risk that you have to move to another place. You can' t say you haven't been warned!

Selby looks different than the slugs we see over here, but they both are rather yucky. I like the gourds much better.
